Script: Kelsey- Eli Whitney, Sarah- Inventor 1, Katie- inventor 2
Kelsey- This my new invention I like to call it the cotton gin. Cotton Gin is short for cotton machine. Inventor 2, tell how the cotton Gin works.
Katie- The Cotton Gin pulls the seeds out and then brushes it to get the dirt out of the cotton to make it clean.
Kelsey- Right, now inventor 1, how about a demonstartion.
Sarah- Sure, first, the cotton goes down a slide so the seeds will fall to the bottom. Then, the cotton goes through a spinning wheel, then into a wheel that brushes the cotton so the dirt and loose cotton will fall, and the cotton is clean!
Kelsey- Now heres a little bit more about the cotton Gin, I patiented on March 14,1794 in Savanna Georgia. The simple machines in my invention is a wheel and axle and and inclined plane.
